Where can Pets Fly?
Pets are permitted to travel on all domestic flights. Pets are not permitted on flights to or from the following destinations:
- Mexico
- Jamaica
- The Dominican Republic
- USA
Booking a Pet on a Flair Flight
Passengers can book their pet in the following ways:
- While making their booking online at flyflair.com
- Using our online Manage My Booking tool
- During their online check-in
- By calling our Contact Centre at 1-833-711-2333 (Contact Centre Transaction fees will apply)
Kennel Requirements
Pets must be secured in a soft-sided, airline-approved, leak-proof, and ventilated pet carrier for travel in the cabin. Kennel must not exceed the following:
- 41cm x 23cm x 25cm (16 x 9 x 10 inches)
- 10 kg (23 lb)
Fees
- The fee to bring a pet on a Flair flight can be found at Flair's Pet Fees.
- Please note that if passengers wish to add a pet to their reservation using Flair's Contact Centre, a Contact Centre Transaction fee will be charged in addition to the baggage fee(s).
- A pet in the cabin will be counted as one standard item toward a passenger's carry-on baggage allowance.
Important Considerations
- Pets must be at least 12 weeks old at the time of travel.
- Passengers are responsible for familiarizing themselves with and complying with entry requirements to their destination.
- Pets must remain in the kennel, under the seat in front of the passenger, for the duration of the flight.
- Pets cannot travel with unaccompanied minors.
- Passengers travelling with a pet in the cabin cannot be seated in exit or bulkhead rows.
- Passengers who require a medical device that will be stowed under the seat cannot travel with a pet in the cabin.
- Flair allows a maximum of 6 pets on board eligible flights.
- Pets that appear aggressive, unruly, ill, or distressed may be denied transport at our discretion. If a passenger chooses to sedate their animal for transport, we recommend that they travel with a note from their veterinarian.
