Personal Item

We allow one personal item per passenger to be stored under the seat in front of you. 

There is no fee for a personal item, provided it fits into the weight and size restrictions.

Bags larger than the specified measurements and weight are considered carry-on bags and will be subject to the applicable fee.

Dimensions for the personal item:

• 15 cm x 33 cm x 43 cm (6 in x 13 in x 17 in) and up to 7 kg (15.5 lb)

Personal items include, but are not limited to:

• Coats or other garments
• A diplomatic or consular bag
• Cameras
• Purses
• Small backpacks
• Diaper bags
• Receptacles containing human remains
• Containers carrying life-sustaining items (e.g. oxygen, medical supplies, etc.)
• Food items for onboard consumption
