Bicycles
Electric bicycles, or E-bikes, are not permitted on Flair flights.
A maximum of one bicycle and one helmet per customer is allowed. Customers can add a bicycle to their reservation in the following ways:
- While making a booking online at flyflair.com
- Using our online Manage My Booking tool
- During online check-in
- By calling our Contact Centre at 1-833-711-2333 (Contact Centre Transaction fees will apply)
Recommendations:
- We recommend that customers travelling with a bicycle arrive early at the airport, as additional handling time could be required to ensure the safety of their item.
- Bicycles should be packed in a wrapper, bag or box. Parts should be reduced to their smallest dimensions and packed to avoid protrusion and movement.
- We recommend deflating tires, which tend to pop at extreme heights, such as 30,000 feet in the air.
Fees:
- Our fees for sporting equipment can be found at Flair's Fees for Sporting Equipment
- Oversize fees will be waived; however, overweight fees apply after 23kg (50 lbs). We cannot accept anything over 292 cm (115 inches) to ensure we can fit it in the aircraft.
- Please note that if customers want to add a bicycle to a reservation using Flair's Contact Centre, a Contact Centre Transaction fee will be charged in addition to the baggage fee(s).
Hockey, Lacrosse, and Ringette Equipment
Customers can add hockey, lacrosse, and/or ringette equipment to their reservation in the following ways:
- While making a booking online at flyflair.com
- Using our online Manage My Booking tool
- During online check-in
- By calling our Contact Centre at 1-833-711-2333 (Contact Centre Transaction fees will apply)
Limit of one carrying bag (with handles) per passenger. This bag can contain:
- Helmet
- Pucks
- Rings
- Footballs
- Sticks
- Pads
- Cleats
- Shoes
- Athletic supporters
- Skates
Please note: Goalie pads will be accepted for no additional fee but must be strapped together with no loose straps.
Recommendations:
We recommend that customers travelling with hockey, lacrosse, and/or ringette equipment arrive early at the airport, as additional handling time could be required to ensure the safety of these items.

Golf Equipment
We accept one set of golf equipment (per customer). A golf set includes:
- Golf club
- Golf balls
- Golf shoes
Recommendations:
We recommend that golf equipment is packaged in a hard shell container specially designed for shipping or in a bag with an attached hood. Bags with built-in tripods must have the legs secured to the bag.
Fees:
- Our fees for sporting equipment can be found at Flair's Fees for Sporting Equipment
- Golf bags will not be considered oversized items. However, overweight fees will apply.
- Please note that if passengers wish to add golf equipment to their reservation using Flair's Contact Centre, a Contact Centre Transaction fee will be charged in addition to the baggage fee(s).
Ski and Snowboard Equipment
We accept one set of ski and snowboard equipment for travel (per customer).
A set of ski or snowboard equipment includes:
- Skis (snow or water)
- Snowboard
- Boots
Recommendations:
We recommend packaging ski and/or snowboard equipment in a bag or container specially designed for shipping.
Fees:
- Our fees for sporting equipment can be found at Flair's Fees for Sporting Equipment.
- Oversize fees will be waived; however, overweight fees apply after 23kg (50 lbs). We cannot accept anything over 292 cm (115 inches) to ensure we can fit it in the aircraft.
