Flair welcomes young travellers on its flights! Customers over the age of 12 may be able to travel unaccompanied; however, the minimum age requirements vary by destination.

Identification Required for Young Travellers
Customers are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents (passport, visa or other required documents) that comply with domestic and international flight entry and exit requirements. Since entry and exit requirements may change without notice, please consult the Government of Canada's website at www.travel.gc.ca for more information.
Domestic flights (travel within Canada):
- Proof of age is recommended for any passenger under 18 in the form of a birth certificate, passport, student ID, or provincial health care card.
- Young travellers between 12 and 17 may travel unaccompanied but ONLY on nonstop flights.
- Young travellers aged 12-17 who travel unaccompanied without supervision on flights will be considered adults. Flair does not offer an unaccompanied minor program.
Travel to and from the United States:
- Adults, children and infants are required to have a valid passport for travel to and from the United States.
- Please visit the U.S. Department of State website for more information on requirements for travel to the United States.
- Each country may have specific travel document requirements, vaccination requirements or health protocols.
- It is the responsibility of each customer to ensure they have the necessary documents for travel.
- To travel unaccompanied to or from the United States, young travellers must be between the ages of 16 and 17, but ONLY on nonstop flights.
- Young travellers aged 16-17 who travel unaccompanied without supervision on flights will be considered adults. Flair does not offer an unaccompanied minor program.
Travel to and from an International destination:
- Adults, children, and infants must have a valid passport for travel to and from International destinations.
- Each country may have specific travel document requirements, vaccination requirements or health protocols.
- Each customer is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary documents for travel. Always travel with the proper documentation.
- Passengers must be 18 or older to travel alone to an International destination on Flair.

- Young travellers will be subject to the baggage allowance associated with their ticket.
